linkABOVE ARE SOME TARGET GRIPS, WITH RUGER MEDALLIONS, FOR A SQUARE BUTT RUGER SECURITY SIX. I BOUGHT THESE OFF EBAY AS BEING FOR A RUGER REDHAWK BUT THEY WERE NOT, BUT THEY ARE S&W LIKE TARGET GRIPS FOR A SQUARE BUTT RUGER SECURITY SIX. GAVE THE SELLER A "NEUTRAL", STATED IT WAS PROBABLY AN HONEST MISTAKE, AND I AM KEEPING THE GRIPS. IF I HAD EVER SEEN THIS TYPE OF SECURITY SIX GRIPS BEFORE IT WAS LONG FORGOTTEN. IF I DID NOT HAVE SOME OUTSTANDING SAMBAR STAG GRIPS FOR THIS REVOLVER THESE TARGET GRIPS WOULD STAY ON THE REVOLVER. I DO NOT HAVE A REVOLVER TO PUT THEM ON, BUT FOR NOW, AND WITH ONLY $66.03 INVESTED IN 'em, I AM KEEPING THEM.

Those are good grips for the Security-Six series guns. Especially for the folks who feel the others are too small. Ruger found a bunch of them several years ago,, and clearanced them out. I bought a "spare pair" myself. A good excuse to go buy a gun!

I haven't seen those before, but being an accumulator of the six series with no view of collector specs, there's plenty I don't know.
I'd like to find a set of those. Then a blued 6" to put them on.

I found these in a "junk box" at a gun show a few years ago. I bought them as I had never seen them. To me they do not work well with the snubbie, better suited for a 4" or 6" IMO.

bigbore5 - go here: www.gunpartscorp.com/products/1176710 theses are oversized grips for the Security Six and Police Service Six, high back model (151- prefix serial number and above). The are extremely comfortable and the price is reasonable (IMO). I have several pairs in my Six series parts boxes (I collect and specialize in the refurbishment and repair of the Six series DA revolvers) and I really like these. You can aso buy completely inletted but exterior unfinished grips for the Six series and finish them any way you want to fit your hand. For Security Six parts got here: www.gunpartscorp.com/gun-manufacturer/ruger/revolvers-ruger/security-6
