Looking good Robb. Your definition of "poor man's" and mine are vastly different. Mine doesn't have room for the words "Bowen", or "Persinger ivory".

Turned out great Robb. I actually prefer non-engraved #5's. To me they look a lot cleaner when done like yours. -Lee www.singleactions.com

That is a beautiful gun. I was thinking of doing the same exact thing but by Clements. I instead decided to order a USFA Flat Top Bisley and send that to Clements for the full #5 conversion. Thanks for the pictures of the grips. Now I know I can probably get the Mexican Eagle put on mine. Also, I wouldnt exactly call that a "Poor Mans" #5. You have some money invested there. Congrats.

Poor mans nothing. That gun stands on its own. Very nice.

Very nice Robb,
Nothing like a good old #5 with ivories. Excellent work by Bowen as usual. Plus, stunning ivory and impecible carving by Persinger. A great combination.
Congratulations.
