I sent Shultz Precision my 14” vent rib .45/410 Contender barrel yo have them work some magic on it. They machined the helical rifling away and added straight rifling and installed an extended choke tube. Can’t wait to see what kind of patterns I can get with lead for squirrels and TSS for Turkeys. Ruined it for .45 Colt but that wasn’t the reason I got it anyway. Might consider a red dot of some kind for it

Sounds awesome. That’s what I want to do for turkeys. I couldn’t find anyone to make a choke etc that would shoot TSS good. I wish the made a .410 smoothbore barrel.

I just wish we could hunt turkey with handgun again. They took it from us a few years ago.

I always hunted turkeys (those days are gone and I don't travel anymore) in Texas as I was not required to use a shotgun. I mostly had shot them with My Freedom Arms .357 Magnum.

They won't let us use a pistol in KY.has to be shoulder fired, so make sure you check your local laws.
