Congratulations...
It continues to seem that CZ has turned the Colt Brand around.
I bought Pythons in 4.2" and 6", both are excellent. Ditto on my Anaconda 6" and King Cobra 4.2".
My gun shop has a good stock of all of the above and all are top quality.
Again, congrats on yours...

Like a dummy, I back ordered the Wilson rear sight when I bought the gun. The Colt rear sight held up for 400 rounds. Never lost zero.

If one has never had a Python (and is satisfied with S&W L&N frames) he needs one to adjust his attitude. I've had several of both and the Python is the one.

I'm so optimistic at what CZ has done for Colt that I eagerly await for more guns to be introduced.
Hopefully, a King Cobra Target 22 LR is in my future...

I agree with the OP about the trigger . I’m hoping Wilson Combat will come out with a better one .

To heck with Wilson Combat, it's CZ that should listen. The company has paid attention to the customer in the past, so hopefully they will now on the Colts. I've never understood a trigger that wasn't smooth or a hammer spur with sharp corners.
I'm hoping for an Anaconda in 41mag and 454.

I'd settle for an Anaconda in a properly chambered and throated 45 Colt.
As far as triggers and hammers go, it's hard to say what the average person does request.
Much like gripframes and sights, manufacturers can only do their best. There's always going to be a few that aren't pleased.
Suppose that's good news for the custom builders.

I've really enjoyed my vintage Pythons, but haven't made the move to the new ones. The more I read, the more I think I'm needing to check them out. Thanks for the post.

The Wilson sight for the new Colts is a great thing. It is as big an improvement, and probably bigger than Bowen sight is to the Rugers in my experience with both.
