I did notice it when I got it. But its one of those things I notice only when I'm looking right at it . I have been wondering why it was put there and I took off the grip to see what was going on. Heres what I found. The grip screw is going through the grip frame that holds the main spring base. I'm curious as to why he put it there. There does seem to be more then enough room behind the hammer strut to have place it there. Only thing I can figure is he wanted to make sure it wouldnt move under recoil?

having the screw there would give it support keeping it flat and letting you tighten the grip up without risk of cracking them like caryc does with spacers.
