My wife got this elk two seasons ago. She got it on the last day of our hunt at 435 yds. We only had about 2 hours of hunting left and she got hers. A shoulder mount takes up a tremendous amount of room but this one will take up quite a bit less. And I think it looks pretty good. It's a nice variation on a Euro amount.  |

Respectfully, your wife sounds awesome. She is pretty awesome. I don't believe I could have married any better. I posted the hunting story from 2020 where she broke her ankle the first morning and cracked two ribs the second day of our Backcountry elk hunt. We thought she had sprained her ankle and bruised her rib cage but didn't believe she did anything worse. She hunted all week and kept at it and got her elk in the last 2 hours of that hunt. She got the elk above in 2021. She also had to hunt the entire week and didn't get that one until the last 2 hours of the hunt. She is persistent. There were a lot of men at camp that were staying behind because they couldn't hack it. But she did. And she's been rewarded for it. She had the Linebaugh and Aciera (member) seal of approval too.    |
