If you can't laugh at yourself, you are in trouble!

Twice while up on my Mountain today,
  I did harmless dumb things that had me laughing. 1st had 2 boxes of 22s in the bag with my K-22. Shot up the 1st box. CCI and was shooting well. Hitting things quite a way off. fun.
Ran out and loaded six of the other box, in the gun. Picked something large and close to see where the ammo printed, and I missed. I could not miss a big chunk of tree bark that close Maybe 20 feet. Shot again. Missed again. What the hell? shot the other 4. No hits. now I am really wondering what is going on.
   Dumped the empties on the hood of my jeep. they looked funny, looked closer.  Started laughing. I was shooting Federal shot loads. Did not notice when I loaded them.
  Latter I shot a box of reloads from my Rossi .357, Picked up the brass, and was missing one. looked around for 10 minutes for that case. No luck. Loaded the magazine from another box. Went to jack a round in the chamber, out comes the empty! I never ejected the last round.
                    Gotta have a sense of hummer!   ...tj

I started to leave a friends house late after a long day of riding motorcycles and other activities. I couldn't find my helmet until my friends pointed out it was on my head.

I see I am in the right place. “ where is my dang phone…….” Oh I’m talking on it. Done the where’s my hat and it’s on my head thing as well.

I am glad I am not the only one, there have been times I was looking for my glassware and either had them on or had in contacts and my glasses were home.

Not too long ago I unpacked groceries. Days later I found ice cream in the cupboard over the stove....and Windex in the fridge!

Years ago I got up early one morning and made a pot of coffee and some toast. When the coffee was done I poured me a cup…right into the tub of butter.

As a teen I did the same ting but they were clenched in my fist!

I've never taken myself too seriously. The problem is, others have taken their que from me, and don't take me seriously either. I don't mind.
