VERY NICE! and a early one to boot. Had one just like it, got ripped off out of my truck. (~1986) ,,, every time one pops up I feel the need to replace it. But in the mean time this 657- 3” 41mag works.😁

GreaK frame, I use a 158 grain bullet and 2400 and have never had any problems with 66 No dash. Accurate, easy to shoot well, powerful and handy. Lines up with Mr. Taffin's PPP.
Oops the 2.5" is just plain sexy, if a handgun could be such a thing.

I had a high polished 66, it (and I) won more than a few wildcat self defense oriented revolver neutral matches.
I still have the nylon holster I used, and I smile every time I see it.
A local range had S&W techs and marketing folks come in for a free clinic and one of the techs wanted to buy it.

That is about as fine a revolver for carrying as any, I carry my 3 inch in a simply rugged pancake. Most often in cross draw, just forward of the hip. The holster tucks it in real tight. Just a light shirt covers it pretty well...tj

That is a real beauty. Thanks for sharing. I had a 66 with a 6" barrel for a few years, if it had the short barrel, I probably wouldn't have swapped it off, at least not as quickly.
