Tragic to say the least. Way too young in my mind. Adios Amigo.

Mr. Taffin, I know all the guys in that group pic except the one on the extreme left. Who is that ? Taffin can properly speak to the man but that is Bob Baer who was a heck of a gunsmith in his day. Thanks Fowler, he looked familiar but if I’ve ever heard of him I’ve forgotten about it.

CORRECTION: HIS LAST .44 SPECIAL RUGER. SKEETER WAS IN THE HOSPITAL AT THE TIME AND THEY VISITED FREQUENTLY TO DISCUSS THE PROGRESS.. GRIPS WERE FRO A STONE SHEEP RACK SKEETER PICKED UP IN B.C. HE NEVER GOT TO SHOOT IT. WOOTTERS SENT ME A LONG LETTER IN 1990 ABOUT THE PROJECT. BILL GROVER OF TLA WAS ALSO INVOLVED AND DID MUCH OF THE WORK IN HIS SHOP. postimg.cc/vggS71gbpostimg.cc/Hj0F6yvk

My brain works funny in my old age, I rember stuff from years ago and can’t remember what I did last week.

Never met the man but read his stuff. We lost another true Icon to our diminishing crowd with the tactical wannabes ruling the roost! Single action revolvers have taken a big hit lately hopefully the remaining Giants will hang in there while we recover!

When Skeeter passed it took me totally by surprise. I too, felt the loss. Then to add to it there was no information on what brought about his passing. It seems like it was close to a year or more before I finally heard what the circumstances were. Now out of the blue it is Bart and again no information about why. I would really like to know what brought on his passing.
