Beautiful Gun and the very definition of a treasure.
Like you, my Blackhawk 30 Carbine is my most accurate Blackhawk.
I like to size the 32 Cal GT 115 grn HP down to .309" and load them.

I wanted to shoot it in our Gong Bong match but most of the competition was older guys than me and they said NO!! So I complied and beat them with my 357 Blackhawk loaded with 38 specials. I never figured those old coots would be so sensitive. Lol!!

I load mine with Unique. Respectable performance and much less noise.

Never fails to amaze me how accurate the OM 30 carbines will shoot with decent loads. A lot of rock chucks wish they would have kept their heads down!

my great uncle had one to match his m-1 carbine, always said the blackhawk was more accurate. After he passed a relative cabbaged it, but I did end up with the old model lockwork and a good bit of brass
