Culina grips on a Model 69

I was lucky to find these locally at a good price. They're my first set of Culina grips, and the excellent reputation is well deserved. I don't think I've ever had a set of DA grips that fit this well off the shelf. They feel like they were fit to this back strap, and there is zero gap in how the halves come together. I don't know if they book match their blanks or split a blank down the middle to make each side, but the grain mates up perfectly from one half to the other. 

I'll add a vertical white line front sight to this one and call it done.

I have had several pairs of their grips and all were outstanding in fit and grain.

Dang, but that's nice. I would love to have a 69 like that, I have a thing for short barreled revolvers, and those feel good in hand. I bet it feels even better with those grips. Very nice.

Culinas' are a great grip, those look great on that 69. Nice set up. You and I are lovers of the Model 69 Smith in both barrel lengths. Carry mine in a Galco Silhouette.

Pro tip:

Save ebay user "988hs" so you get updates when he lists new items for sale. I believe this to be Culina's account. They post discounted, blemished grips from time to time. The blemishes I've seen are incredibly minor.

Love the grips. Unfortunately the bone at the base of my thumb screams at anything hard. The Bowen rear sights are amazing - makes a big difference for me. Here's my M69 with the Bowen rear, Dawson 1/10" front and (gag) Hogue Tamers
