I put the factory grip on it. It actually fits me very well.

This is the latest and it is a shooter. ***** Provided your new Redhawk 4.2-inch is “a shooter,” you have a prize. Appears your gun has the original, CORRECT REDHAWK SIGHT, the best interchangeable front sight ever put on a pistol. A look at Ruger’s current catalog shows only the Super Blackhawk Hunter and SBH Bisley Hunter equipped with proper Redhawk interchangeable-insert front sight. Evidently, Ruger chose to drop the correct sight from Redhawk and Super Redhawk and GP-100, while jacking up the price! Also, has your 4.2” Redhawk the traditional drop-forged, machined, gun-drilled, and broach rifled barrel? Or, has it a sleeved barrel?... in which case I suspect bar stock is gun drilled, with rifling by hammer forge. No accuracy implications here, just curiosity. To repeat, the original Redhawk sight is a gem. David Bradshaw
