I've said it before.... The folks I've met here have been really good at helping me spend my $$ and this one is a prefect example. I went back to the well for this one that I've had my eye on for some time now. S&W M27 with a 5" barrel re-bored for cast .45 bullets. Has a M57 cylinder rechambered for .45 Colt, Bowen white line Rough Country rear and custom ramped front sight. The screws were nitre blued and the gun has been tuned. In my mind's eye it's a perfected version of the S&W Mountain gun. Shown with some of LSCG's wonderful new sheep horn grips.   Love that M27 checkering!    Gotta have those white sights...  With it's twin in .41 Magnum   With some Culina Magnas...  |

Gorgeous gun! I have a 25-5 with good throats been thinking about having cut down to 5" or even better, having a 5" 28 barrel rebored to 45.

Nice looking revo,….spent the last week with a buddy from the uk, that has a shrouded barrel 1917, but has always wanted a 3.5” 27 since his youth. He asked if it would be possible to have his 1917 fit for a SW adjustable rear sight. I said, anything is possible and showed him some of Robb and Bushys pics from the site. He said he’d be very happy to have a 455, 3.5” N frame/pseudo 27.
