This gun haunts my dreams. The major holdup is for someone to make the moon clips. I wonder if Ronnie would want to take on some more work in his magic machines?

I've pondered if you could buy a Python Barrel off Ebay, have it rebored and installed on a Ruger 10mm?

That would look cool. The old Smython would be nice too. I spoke to JRH about a 10mm Python a few months ago (I think?!) and he said he was working on something to get the moon clips since nothing out there would fit and who wants a 10mm double action without clips. I haven’t checked back so might need to call him

In fact, when I was ordering my .41 Specials he asked why I didn't just have them done in 10mm and use a 10mm GP100 for a base gun and save the re-chambering fee. I said no.... I'm confident Jack or Andy would do it too. |

Well why not do a 10mm mag?
Or do brass with a small rim?

I would definitely do 10mm magnum. I had my 610 chambers lengthened to the mag and it is a great round with a little more oomph.

I don’t think the cylinder is big enough but if it could be rechambered to .38-40 I am in!!!!!

There are a few 41 pythons so I don’t see why a 10mm would not fit in the cylinder.

I'm interested. 10mm is my favorite semi-auto cartridge with the Python being my favorite D/A. If the moon clips are cut right and you use a tool to load/unload (don't gorilla them off by hand) moon clips last a long time.
