Well, this gun made it home. Fully restored as Jack said it would be.
More information after Tim posts the pictures...

Thanks Tim...
I went this route because the first 29 and 57 I ever shot were Counterbored. That was in my early to mid teens and I never quite recovered.
This one is extremely tight. Action is very solid and the barrel gap won't pass a .0015" Feeler Gauge.
Everyone involved in this project feels the trigger pivot pin was broken in it's infancy. The gun shows almost no sign of wear.
I think Jack did an excellent job as he always does. Turnbull's Color Case Hardening needs no introduction.
I think I'll scope it. It's obviously an 8 3/8" Barrel and should make an excellent hunting gun.

I scoped the gun and very much like it. I didn't know if I would or not.
Used Warne Vertical Split Rings to mount an inexpensive (not cheap) Barska 2x Scope.
These scopes were previously sold as Simmons 2x. They've held up fine on some serious recoiling TCs.
They're small and not so intrusive on a revolver.
I'll never run this gun hot. There is no need to. But, it'll do all I ever need...

Very nice piece, a true shame we can't order guns like this from the factory. The bluing is as deep as a lake.

While there are good guns these days, few have the attention to detail as the older models.
I'm winding down on my builds with only one outstanding revolver build on the horizon. However, if I run across older S&W, Colts or other guns that deserve refurbishing, I'll snag them.
I have several rifle projects in mind. The Ruger #3 is the first of the few. But, I'm determined to be finished before retirement...
