The deep south vortex couldn't quite pull this one in from Oregon.... Took a slightly different slant off magnetic north and whipped the baby home from Alaska! Letters as a June '71 edition that included a brass grip frame with the gun... ;D

Uh! I wonder how it ended up in the deep south? ;D that "set" just keeps growing in it's diversity and range! You know I would probably kill myself if I ever saw a summary of all the stuff that once lived here in Oregon that now lives in the south. Thank goodness Axe has deep pockets! ;D

Very nice.
Did that gun come from Alaska last month? There was one at the Wasilla gun show last month that allegedly lettered as shipping with an extra brass frame. Was curious what that meant--if came with regular frame, and a separate brass frame fitted, or shipped unfitted in the box.
We have a few brassies up here. I picked up a lettered BKH44 brassie last year from a local fella who had it stashed away for the past 10 years, and had purchased it back in the 90's at the Palmer gun show.
