I've posted this gun before, but never really focused on the scope mount. This is a titanium mount, I think a custom job but I haven't seen pics of the FA version. There were a handful of custom mounts floating around an enthusiast/machinist supposedly built. My question is about these rear sight inserts. They need to be trimmed on the bottom. All are a U/V notch. I might flip one over and do a square notch. I also need to Fermin make me a front sight (it's a pin in sight) once I sort out the rear sight height. Does anyone else have this mount, and if so what's the rear sight solution? It's light, very well made, and allows for irons. Makes the long barreled 357 carry and handle light a much smaller gun. I think with sights, a Barranti shoulder rig, and 158 grain loads this could become a regular hunting gun. I suppose if I can't get these to work I might be able to annoy Fermin enough to make both a front and rear for me.

I had that mount on a M97. That looks just like the one I had but maybe a little gloss look than mine.
I have two others that are titanium somewhere that I picked up a while back but I don’t remember if those had the iron sights. They were supposed to be titanium prototypes from FA and the finish was identical to my other one. The M97 I had is with a buddy now.
