A WHILE BACK I ACQUIRED THE ABOVE PICTURED GALLAGHER/RUGER/COLT 45 COLT BUNTLINE. THE DONOR GUN IS AN OLD MODEL VAQUERO, THE BARREL IS A COLT BUNTLINE BARREL, THE GRIPS ARE UNMARKED BUT APPEAR TO BE FITTED TO THE REVOLVER. IT HAS A LOCKING BASE PIN, LOOKS LIKE IT HAS A SBH HAMMER, HAS A HELL'uvA AN ACTION, HAS A FREE SPIN CYLINDER, A STEEL GRIP FRAME, and THE FRAME IS MATTED BUT THE PINS ARE BLUE. I HAVE NOT HAD TIME TO SHOOT IT MUCH. WANT TO SEE HOW IT SHOOTS WITH MY "COLT LOADS", MY "S&W LOADS" AND MAYBE MY RUGER 250gr RNFP LOAD, LOOKING FOR ACCURACY AND SHOOTING TO THE SIGHTS.
THE GUN CAME WITH A DISPLAY CASE AND, FOR A TAD XTRA, A THAD RYBKA HOLSTER, QUITE A PACKAGE, AT A VERY GOOD PRICE, AND IN 45 COLT, HAPPY IS ME.
I HAVE 2 3rd GEN COLT BUNTLINES, A NICKELED 44 SPECIAL (NEVER SHOT) AND A BLUE 45 COLT (SHOT SOME), NICE LOOKING GUNS BUT THEY CAN BE FULLY RETIRED NOW, OR MAYBE SENT DOWN THE ROAD.

Can I help with range testing? I can run targets, move things around, measure groups and store data for the chance to run 6 through that weapon! Totally Buntline Cool!!
