I won't permit you to see his mother's scrunched-up, tear stained face, nor the even more so contorted face of his father. These pics taken this morning, as we sent our first-born off to war. He, comforting us with his softly spoken words and his quiet brave confidence. God bless them all.

May the good Lord keep him, protect him and return him home safely to you and his mother. That is my wife and I next Feb. when our oldest graduates from pilot school and heads out.
