I found this old book at a gun show. A pretty good read and another good book recommended by Mr. Taffin. Can y'all recommend any good books?

Slick cover. What year was it published? Speaking of old books, my dad just gave me his old Handloaders Digests, Guns Illustrated, Gun Digests, and Shooters Bibles to name a few. Most are from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. It's really neat to see write-ups on "new" cartridges like the 22 Jet, 10mm Auto, 401 PowerMag, 225 Win, 6.5 Rem Mag, 7mm-08, 8mm Rem Mag, 350 Rem Mag, etc, etc. There're also articles on a couple of young gunsmiths by the names of John Linebaugh and Dick Casull -Lee www.singleactions.com

JT, I would have bet you have the originals. I have all but the rifle in original editions. Recently bought the set of reprints. Interestingly, the reprints have an intro written by Thell Reed. Great reading. Jayhawker Bob

Great reading. Jayhawker Bob I DO AND THEY RE-PRINTED THEM ALL AFTER THEY READ MY CAMPFIRE TALES ABOUT COL. COOPER.
