Looks like a great out of the way set up, and very well made. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice looking holster! I’ve used one if Mike Barranti’s along with several other makers chest holsters but I keep running into the same problem with all of them. I don’t leave my truck without grabbing my old binoculars which ride on my chest via either a web harness or in a padded rig by Marsupial. I would rather go hunting without a firearm than I would without my old Leicas and I just haven’t figured out a way to carry both gun and binos in chest rigs at the same time. Maybe one of you guys have figured out a way to do so and can share.

If I’m carrying a belt holster, I still carry binos the same way, but opposite the side of gun. I’ve found this method to be much more comfortable and just as quick to deploy, but without binos swinging and banging on everything.

Thanks Kim, I’ll see if I can try that with my Marsupial case .

Thanks Kim, I’ll see if I can try that with my Marsupial case . If it’s the harness system I just looked up, it probably won’t work. With my leupold binos, I just use the provided neck strap and neoprene case. Only leave in the case if it’s wet/rainy, otherwise they’re caseless.

Robb, that’s one reason why I liked the high ride of the chest rig, I think it will allow for a lower hanging pair of binos.

Took my SRH to him the other day, looking forward to getting it back in a month or so.

Got it back, yesterday. It holds the gun high on the chest enough so that binos hang below the gun.

Ever consider modifying the holster just a bit so it could work on either the chest rig or on a belt cross draw?

On the bino thing; I too carry my binos cross chest on a simple strap with the binos under the left pit. Has worked for years and is simple.

Mine was supposed to come in the mail today, but, as usual it's delayed. USPS is not what it once was. It'll probably get here Monday. But of course I am leaving town for work Sunday!
I'll post pics of mine for a 357 Maximum 7.5" when I get home again.
