The exit in the hide was about the size of the bottom of a small sStyrofoam coffee cup. It just blew some inside stuff out

Opens on something that size, but goes deep thru organs(wet media). Seems a sure thing that it would be good for much bigger things too.

GOTERDONE! Mississippi and Louisiana have what is called a primitive weapons season that start 1 week early and has 2 extra weeks at the end of season. To qualify the rifle must be a single shot with an exposed hammer, 35 caliber or larger. 35 Whelen is by far the most popular around here.

I've never used one myself, but I have a friend who loves them and has had a several custom rifles built in .35 Whelen and variants using the same bullets. He says they take care of hogs authoritatively.
