***** Greg.... thanks for posting link to an exuberant example of the engraving art----by Phil Quigley. Far above usual expression. Potent blend of oak leaf and fleur de lis (flower lily) patterns, framed in gold wire. Neat touch of gold wire on the drag line. Doubt the revolver will be fired. While .357 Mag might not loosen the wire, the risk from a .44 Mag to do so runs high. The art on a 3-1/2” M-27, altogether exceptional. Safe to say a modern masterpiece. David Bradshaw |

I am always amazed at what a artist can do to blue steel and I was once again amazed looking at that model 27.....
