Thanks for the help fellas. sixgun100, what speedloader are you using? ezekiel38, are those VZ grips? I think I'm going to try a set of the tactical diamonds, as finger groove grips never really fit me. Encore64, would the gold bead that comes on the 3" work on the target model? I'm not a fan of FO sights either, but the gold/brass bead works well for me. It’s a Safariland K Frame Comp I. I’ve stopped using it. It works for some ammo, but not consistently. I’ve switched to Bianchi Speed Strips. Finding a D Frame Safariland Speedloader has been difficult.

To OP the grips on my KC 3" pictured with the DeSantis scabbard are VZ grips. They're rough but nice if your hand is wet or bloody. Easier to conceal I wear my KC a lot IWB with a Kramer rig.

Nice Revolver, And The Simply Rugged Pancake is a great choice. I carry a 3 inch model 66-4 in one and it works great. I use the cross draw most of the time. It tucks it in close if I ware just a little forward of my hip. Great for Driving and walking. If I did not find this Model 66 I would have bought one of those Colts. ...tj

You guys and those 3" Colts are killing me. Dang, they look nice!
GP load for me (3", 5-shot 357s) is 180 grain WFN over 6 grains of Unique.

I'd like to get the VZ grip for mine but they're all out of stock unless someone knows of a 3rd party vendor that carries them. I used to have a sourdough pancake from simply rugged for a gp100 years ago, but didn't really care for it, but perhaps the smaller and lighter colt would carry nicer in it.

The King Cobra is a 6 shooter. Not a 5. Or am I proving my ignorance yet again. ?

I replaced mine with the G10 grips that, I believe, come on the Night Cobra. Better than the Hogue’s, but I’m still hoping for service type stocks that I can put a Tyler T Grip on.
