If the rain holds off Skeeter's gun is headed to the woods Saturday. I have it shooting great. Doc has been busy moving his leather shop to Texas so I am going to take it in a nylon holster till he gets caught up. I have it shooting Skeeter's favorite .41 bullet. I did switch out the front sight to a taller red fiber sight. I saw a really nice buck that would go in the 140s last weekend in the area I am going to hunt. Actually a doe isn't safe if its in range and I have Skeeter's gun. Hopefully I will have some pics of Skeeter and a deer.  |

When I asked Bart about it he said "He’d want you to shoot it. It’s built for that."
Hopefully that 140" buck I saw last week shows up.

That's a nice one. Good luck getting a deer! I too hope you get that buck!
I'd love to have one of Skeeter's guns. I know where one is,, and I've handled it. it's possible it'll be up for sale,, but I have no clue about what he'll want. It's a Contender in .357 Herrett.
