Custom S&W 1902 Snubby

Just got this fellow together.  1-3/4" barrel with a detent added to the crane, new front sight, bobbed hammer with hand-cut 40 LPI checkering.  The trigger-guard is relieved on the right side to allow smooth access to the trigger from the 'safe' position alongside the frame. The DA trigger is now a silky-smooth 6.5 lbs., but I haven't messed with the mainspring. Finished with custom antler grips and and antler grip adapter. I like it; it really nails the look and feel I was going for.

While I will likely never shoot it single-action I saw no real reason to remove the capability. I checkered the top of the hammer because if I ever do shoot it single action I wn't have to start cocking the hammer with the trigger.  And it's cool.

Yup, should be posed next to an Underwood typewriter and a trenchcoat. Mickey Spilane stuff..Black Dahlia.. The antler grip adapter, a next level, that maybe nobody ever achieved. Until now.

I don't have a snubby modded to this extent. Maybe nobody does ! I've dinged, asked TP about posting pics of companion blades because his background is... LOL His skills and vision when talking back alley, parking lot, get of me weapons is beyond the visible market now. Am in awe.. We have not met, I do not not know this man. I do wish he lived next door.
