Had a heckuva day afield yesterday, with my Freedom Arms M97 in 41 magnum. Killed the freak horn buck Friday morning with one shot through both shoulders from about 65 yards. And the hog last night was a legitimate 70 yards and right through the heart. My load is a 210 grain XTP over H110.   |

Good I hear a lot of smack talking about the xtp bullets, but they seem to get the job done SOME DO SOME DON'T, DEPENDS ON THE CALIBER AND THE VELOCITY AND THE TYPE OF XTP AS THEY ARE NOT ALL BUILT THE SAME. THE 210gr XTP's SEEM TO WORK WELL IN THE 41 MAG AND DITTO FOR THE 240's IN THE 44 MAG. |

It’s 7.5”. Looks longer because I had the front sight removed. |

I’m planning on checking with FA on Monday when I go back to pick up my 555, if they’ve got any 83’s in 41 in stock.

I’m planning on checking with FA on Monday when I go back to pick up my 555, if they’ve got any 83’s in 41 in stock. Trapr Mine is being built as I type this. 10”FA83 in 41 with 2 cylinders plus all the extras. You can’t go wrong with a FA in any caliber, as a Hunting hand gun. |

Very nice! Love the pics. I have seen & let walk a small 6 pt buck. I call him "the bent 6" because one of his antlers is bent forward right at the base, & goes forward of his eyes & nose. Obviously an accident in the early stages of development.
I had several pics of him on a trail camera,, and I think I've already deleted them.
I like the odd & unusual racks like yours. I had one last year that eluded me. Haven't seen him at all this year.
So "KUDOS" on (2) FINE animals for the freezer!
