A friend just gifted me with a pristine SW Model 15-3, for officiating at his daughter's wedding. Now, I have a quandary - BK grip adapter (since Tylers are so slow) or a Hogue Monogrip? I've yet to shoot a revolver with a BK style adapter, but I have shot numerous Hogue grips (nylon and wood primarily) and like them. Thoughts, opinions, and reasons please.

If it's a target revolver then the Hogues. If it will see concealment work then the BKs. The BKs have two retention tabs while the Tylers only have one. Haven't heard any complaints on the BKs.

You may want to give Tyler T Grip a try. Ordered one on 09/14 and received it yesterday. Not too bad given their current reputation…..

THIS IS JUST MY OPINION BASED ON MY COSMETIC PREFERENCES: KEEP IT CLASSIC WITH EITHER MAGNAS OR TARGET GRIPS, GET SOME CUSTOM GRIPS IF YOU WANT TO DRESS 'er UP, AND IF YOU GO WITH MAGNAS THE TYLER/BK TYPE GRIP ADAPTER, COLORED TO THE GUN, IS A GOOD FUNCTIONAL ADD ON THAT KEEPS THE GUN CLASSIC LOOKING.

I much prefer the S&W Magna style stock with a grip adapter. Others like Hogues, Herrets or even S&W Target stocks. I have a bunch of stuff in my cast off box because I prefer Magnas or Service stocks. Kevin
