It's not often I can get to the range before April 15 but the weather was so nice today (Sunny and mid 70's) I just couldn't help myself. First is from 25 yards And then 50 yards Not sure what happened with the flyer. The load was 18gr of 2400 pushing a 215gr SWC out of my 41 mag Bisley Blackhawk.

Looks like you had a good time at the range...
Would have liked to have gotten out there myself today, but Her Worship decided to come along with my son and I for our haircuts and breakfast out this morning. After breakfast, she wanted to go to Kohl's to do some shopping...just a couple of things, won't take long. Yeah, right...four hours later, we straggled back to the estate with her treasures.
I still needed to cut the lawn...first cut of the year. My son and I didn't finish our yard work until 5:30 this afternoon. Oh, well...no trip to the range this weekend...maybe next weekend, if the weather stays as nice as today...75F and sunny. And if I can get a bunch of other chores done...the way the chore list is growing, I may be busy every weekend until 2015.

Man, GREAT shooting! Thanks for sharing. I shot in our local "Jesse James Farm Shoot" today. It's fun. Most wear period clothing and many of us are old friends. I shot what I expected to be well below the top three spots (top three in B. powder and cartridge get a small medal for placing) but I guess most of us shot poorly because I managed to get second place with my dad's 3rd Gen. Colt SAA (.357)....the computer went down so a bunch of us just hung out and shot the bull for an hour waiting for the scores. A fun day...but I did not bring my targets home!!! Ugh!
I'm going out back tomorrow after church. Our range is about 300 yards from the house so I will load up the Mule and head out for an hour or two of shooting....might have to take my Abilene and Virginian Dragoon out with the Rugers and Smiths!
