I swear, these things are like rabbits. Found this 1860 Richards-Mason with the factory antiqued finish on Gunbroker. Haven't checked the date code yet but it must be an earlier model, as it has a .44Colt length chamber. All the later .44Colts and Russians have .44Special chambers. I messed around and sold one of my favorite holsters for these guns, so I started another. I also recently discovered the Lee turret press. I've got two Dillon 650's and two RCBS turrets but had been contemplating setting up another Dillon for either .44Colt or .44Special for a couple years. After watching a video of the Lee turret in action, I decided to give one a try. It's nowhere near as productive as the Dillon but I really like what they do for their modest cost. I set mine up for .38Spl and bought another turret head to setup for .44Colt to feed my various Open Tops, conversions and S&W Russian/New Model replicas. I'll convert my first 650 back from .38Spl to .44Spl and leave the other .45Colt. Here's the one I sold. It was one of the first holsters that I aged back in 2016. The hide was real dry and cracked in all the right places. Then for some dumb reason I listed it on my Etsy store.
