Reboring

Looks like I am off in pursuit of another project already.

This one is going to be a VERY slow burn.

Sending an N frame barrel out for reboring sometime this month.

to .510. Muzzle diameter is only .740.

My first thought was clearwater reboring (they have LaBounty's equipment, IIRC). My second thought was - nothing - because I don't know anyone else.

Got suggestions or should I stick with Clearwater?

I have three LaBounty rebores (rifles) and they shoot like my custom barreled rifles. I am sure that Jim Dubell will do the same. That said, I had Alan Harton build a 38 WCF on an old Flattop and I had him send the barrel to Al Siegrist based upon Dave Clements recommendation. His work was top notch too. I believe Mr. Siegrist charges ~$120 or so. I think you may have a problem with your bore vs. barrel diameter but either gent will advise you.
