Not what I am envisioning. Maybe a little lower than the front sight with a small slope down to the tin and a slope up to the frame.

As wide as the octagon flat? I was thinking as wide as the front sight base. Agree. Would look nice. Tasty checkering on the top Makes grinding the 8 flats equal hard…….more hand work.

JUST, WOW! And honestly, that might just be the best looking Bowen (or any custom six-gun) I have seen! It really suits my tastes just about perfectly! I love the caliber, oct barrel, Turnbull colors, blue, and Dall grips (I especially love those on the little brother with the dark contrast grain...so beautiful!) I really think this is my all time favorite! (No offense to ALL to the other beauties out there...all you guys have the "prettiest six-guns" award all locked up! And what do I love most about this site and your fine six guns? These ridiculously beautiful, expensive, custom works of art...are working guns!
