I had determined that the 45 Schofield had the exact powder capacity as the 44 Special before I started this build. So, I'm using Brian Pearce's 25k 44 Special Data.
I believe the Schofield builds less pressure with the same charge/bullet combo.
Inching up on the powder charge, it takes more to seal the cases off.
The Starline Schofield Cases are thicker than 44 Magnum. So, that may be a factor.
But, bullet seating depth and larger expansion area in the 45 is my guess...
