My DAO 2.5 inch and 3 inch 686 make me wonder about my 4 and 5 inch 686... I'm thinking it has got to happen. Power Custom makes the parts. Midway has them in stock. I'll keep the 6 inch gun as is.

Man you have me wanting a 686! Those are some good looking 357s,I have never had a doa revolver. Keep us posted!

The 686 4" for sure. I shoot better DA than SA in a good Smith or Colt or Ruger. I think it is greater concentration on the front sight and attention to trigger stroke. But I was trained as a LEO with DA revolvers in 1970 and carried them as duty guns until 1989. Single action was not allowed until the 50 yard line, shooting SA from 25 yds up would get you disqualified and an hour or two washing paatrol cruisers on your day off.
