Just picked up a 2010 S&W 686. Gonna be my new woods gun and probably used for occasional deer slayer. Might need to put a red dot on it as my aging eyes are just no good. The older I get the more I appreciate a fine revolver over my plastic guns!

I think the 686 has one of the best factory action jobs around. You should enjoy that shooter.

Thanks guys. This has a Patridge front sight. That I actually think I like better than ramp style. Not sure if it came from the factory that way but its nice!
