That's a fine looking revolver.
I really love my .44 special FT, too. May have to spring for a Bisley variant. Do let us know your impressions once you've handled it more and shot it some.

Is the Bisley Grip frame the same as the "OLD" Vaquero's and Blackhawk Models or have they made them smaller to accommodate the Flattop Frame?

Thats a good question, so I checked my older model Bisley Vaquero and pulled the grips.
The Flattop grips have a B2 on the inside and the stag grips from the Vaquero does not fit well at all. The two guns feel close to the same but I think the two frames are slightly different

There is a difference between the stainless and carbon steel Bisley grip frames. Grips will not fit both the same way.

Not a lot of difference. For a long time the only way to get a stainless gripframe for a 475 or 500 conversion was to get one from the Single Six. It was a blued gun with a stainless gripframe made in a custom run for a vendor.

My FT Bisley 44 Special has no internal lock....
The TALO Stainless FT 44 Special with the NM XR3 grip frame does have the internal lock...

My Bisley Flat Top does not have the internal lock however my other Lipseys Flat Top does have the lock

;D ;D ;D It finally got here today and I can't wait to go try it out. I really have enjoyed the other Lipsey's 44 special so when I heard about the Bisley Flattop coming out I began bugging my local shop to get me one.
