Nice guns...

About 20 years ago, bought a couple of the 625-7 PC 5" guns from a shop a couple of weeks apart...for very cheap money. Sold one to a friend who was collecting .45 ACP revolvers and made the mistake of selling the other one...brought double what I had paid for it.

When my friend sold off his collection a few years ago I ended up getting it back...

Seems like that front sight set came from S&W

Shot a model of 89 for many years as well, it was a very fine shooting gun in USPSA once I put a fiber optic sight on it & my son did an action job. It also shot very accurate with one of Fermin's (2Dogs) front sights for target shooting, I always have him narrow them to 1/10". I've never been able to get along with the gold bead front sights.
