Thanks for posting Randy! James, I was shooting an Encore in 375 JDJ. Karen and I enjoyed our third hunt in South America taking 4 water buffalo, boar, and shot a case of 20 gauge shells on doves and pigeons. Argentina is a nice place, friendly people, and plenty of big game -- not to mention a wing shooting mecca.

Congrats, Mark! Those are great looking trophy’s. Did you get an opportunity to eat any of the buffalo while there? If so, how was it?

We did eat some of the buffalo but it was cut into little pieces similar to pulled pork. They know how to prepare it and it was tasty.

A fun adventure, and good shooting ! I get a grin outta the camo job on the 375. Grew up bowhunting and I've been known to camo tape some firearms since. COR enjoyed busting my chops when he saw camo tape on the then new 480 BSBH when he saw it at camp. The gun, out at the end of your arms, goes thru the most motion to get it up and on to the critter.

I always enjoy sampling the “Catch of the day” prepared by the locals. Not only enjoying time with friends and family, hunting new, exciting locations, but tasting locally prepared flavors, in the way of the region.
