Yesterday, I bought this Rex Zero1 CP 9mm. Felt really good in the hand, had great sights, and just felt like a quality gun. However this one of the few firearms out there that I basically knew nothing about. For $505 out the door, I bought it. Got it home and broke it down, cleaned it and did some research for reviews of the gun. To my surprise, these are fairly highly regarded as extremely well made and just work. The gun is very well fitted and finished (satin nickel) both inside and out. I am very pleased so far with it. Hopefully tomorrow I can run some rounds through it. Definitely feels and looks to be the equal of many guns twice the price.

Interesting. That's what is so great about this forum. I'd never even heard about these guns, now I'm trying to learn more about them.

I just watched the video from the factory in Slovenia. The hammer forging process is the first time I've ever seen it and it sure looks cool

Built in the former Yugoslavia I'm sure it is a very well built pistol.

THAT is one nice-looking little auto-pistol.
I checked a few reviews and noted a distinct lack of elusive wordplay meant to avoid coming right out and saying that it sucks. I read nothing negative, neutral or even remotely ambiguous on it - rather it was unanimously rated quite highly.

You're not helping at all. Were those grips made for that gun or were they made for a Sig?

Sounds like good quality. Only thing that stands out to me (and it's reason enough for me not to buy, but YMMV) is lots of sharp edges. Trigger guard, frame rails, top edges, bottom edges, etc. Sharp edges everywhere.
