Just curious if this gun in stainless is a for grins and giggles gun or for a specific purpose. I enjoy hearing about others custom revolver projects and the driving factors behind each one.

You know me...just grins and giggles...I never shoot any of these things! In all seriousness, I want a bisley spur and deluxe action job on one and since the retrofit is basically out of the question...here I am.... I found the right base gun (came with 2 .38 cylinders that are like hen's teeth) and Zane had some walrus tooth.

That one is a beautiful thing, I hope you get your stainless one built. I have a revolver @ JRH currently becoming a 50GI (and yes it is stainless.)

50 GI is interesting. I recently sold a Guncrafter 1911 in 50 GI.

50 GI is interesting. I recently sold a Guncrafter 1911 in 50 GI. Yea, it is a great round, I kinda went crazy for the 50GI, I have several 50GI AR15 uppers, several encore barrels, a Mac 10 in 50GI, several 50GI Glock conversions and as stated above I have a revolver @ JRH being built in 50GI.
