Agree. I’ve had Tom make me a few specialty molds for my ideas. Accurate makes some really nice molds

I have been meaning to get back and draw up the rest of Lee's designs but the last year and a half have been tough, due to some surgery I had as well as the passing of both of my parents. I will dig up the specs I got from Lee on the other calibers he sent me, and get them drawn up and submitted to Tom.
If you do have Tom cut your mold please have him note that it is a Lee Martin Design so others can find it. Also post here the catalog # here and I will add it to the thread of Lee's designs.

One note on this bullet. I originally designed it for my .50 Alaskans (one is a Siamese Mauser, the other is a BFR). It shoots beautifully in both and has printed extremely well at 100 yards. Later I decided to try it in my .500 Maximum. I used every bit of frame window on cylinder length and it JUST fits. You may have to trim .500 Maximum brass back to around 1.55" in slightly shorter cylinders to crimp at the very top of the groove. I consider this to be the upper limit for weight in the .500 Maximum. But it works, flies well, it penetrates deep (as evidenced on a section of oak tree I shot with them). A compressed case of AA1680 goes roughly 1,250 fps from my conversion. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Chasing perfection five shots at a time"

Thanks Lee for adding more info. As you said to me offline, this bullet may also require inside reaming of brass. It's a good heads up to be aware of.

While I think it's a bit much for the max, I would like to try it out in the Bushwhacker.
