A while back, I was watching a 50's western on Grit TV. The bad guy had a Colt with jet black grips. It looked slick, so I picked up a set of Uberti one-piece black bison horn. Put off buying the gun until I saw this Taylor's 1873 in .45 Colt. When buying Italian clones online, I like seeing the actual gun (as opposed to the stock photo). This one had sharp CCH, so I purchased it for $515 NIB. I think it turned out pretty good: Super fit and finish. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Chasing perfection five shots at a time"

Dropping that into your holster would put a smile on any ones face. Well, if they play here..

WHEN A GUY THAT BUILDS HIS OWN SUPER COOL CUSTOM REVOLVERS GETS GIGGLY OVER AN ITALIAN SAA CLONE, THAT SAYS A LOT FOR THE GUN.

WHEN A GUY THAT BUILDS HIS OWN SUPER COOL CUSTOM REVOLVERS GETS GIGGLY OVER AN ITALIAN SAA CLONE, THAT SAYS A LOT FOR THE GUN. It really does. Been buying Italian clones since the early 90's. I probably have 20+ and not one has disappointed me at the range. For that reason, I don't own any Colt SAAs, USFAs, or Standard Manufacturing revolvers (which cost 3X - 4X). As for customs, we've built dozens of them dating back to the 1980s. I still like creating one-offs, but lately I've had a blast buying and shooting the hell out of factory guns. This 1873 and the Tisas 1911 I bought earlier this year are prime examples. They just work and are priced right. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Chasing perfection five shots at a time"

Long time fan of Uberti Revolvers and own maybe a dozen of them.
Clements is working on a neat project for me right now involving a Uberti 1890 Police.
Have to agree with what Lee already said. Haven't been disappointed with one yet.

That one looks real sharp. I need to pay more attention to the Italian guns.

Man, that is a really slick SAA, clone or not. I really like the looks of that one. Ready made BBQ gun right there.
