Just a great package there. Real nice .44 from Jim with great wood from Rob and great piece of leather from Doc, not to mention having that copy of the book. That's great. I never was able to get a gun from him, but would've loved to. I was looking at the base pin, and saved and blew the pic up to try and get a better look to see what he'd done there, but it's too blurry to make out blown up. If you get time sometime, I'd love to see a good close up of the base pin. Jim did really good work that just had a creative flare to it. I bought some of his front sight bases for friends and customers, as did others. It'd be interesting to see what just a "Show us Your Guns with Stroh Front Sights" thread would turn up.
