Rowen grips for a Stroh Bisley

After about 3 years on the waitlist and 3 months at his shop, these French walnut grips are finished. The gun came to me with factory stocks as seen in this Taffin article, figure 26-4.

Rob was great to work with. Very professional, lots of communication. Killer wood selection for whatever type of figure you're looking for. I have grips with flame figure but nothing with this heavy caking, which I think looks particularly good on all-blued guns. I sent a tracing of my hand and asked for a slight palm swell and a blind right screw. Lesson learned: when possible have your grip frame decked before the process starts. In this case, the finish was as Jim applied it and we elected not to do any machine work that might've led to a refinish.
