More Beautiful Work From Horvath

About 18 months ago a couple of old Blackhawks made their way to LaGrange for some spiffing up.

They came back today and I am stunned. I've been lucky to have owned custom pistols crafted by what I and other would call the best.
I'm humbled to be able to take care of these for a while. I've included the worksheets in Andy's hand describing the work. In both cases it was extensive. I've said before that the Devil's in the details with these projects and with Andy, If you know to ask for it it's delivered. He even did the grips with wood that I supplied.

The one piece grips on the Powers Custom grip frame are remarkable. I just love the size and shape. None better... I laid out the grips on the blanks and...well...

Dang it Greg! The word nice just seems to come up a bit short, those are some sweet guns for sure, especially that 41 magnum, yikes!

Greg, nice pieces!!!!! I have more of Andy's guns than any others. Just love his work...Not to mention he is only an hour and a half away!!!

No doubt Andy does superb work and Greg has superb taste. I'm getting ready to send Andy on old model 45 for some work and I may just have to have him imitate those hammers! He called me last night to say he received my payment for the work on the 41 Special and along with the payment I wrote about the 45 and when he called he said no problem, send it out!
