Ive never shot specials in magnum cylinders much before.
Know you can but, how well does a .480 Ruger really shoot in a .475 Linebaugh?
I realize all revolvers are different etc. but in general what experience have those with more than me had?
Inquiring minds….

I can't speak of the .480/.475, but I shoot heavy .45 Colt loads in my .454 BFR. Needless to say, it shoots outstanding.

Anyone who is deep seating bullets is basically doing the same thing. You just need to clean your cylinder a little more often because of the carbon build up at the beginning of the throat. Probably the most used caliber is 38 specials in 357 magnums, I think all of us do that, I know I've shot many, many thousands of 38 specials in my 357's & most times accuracy is great, but as mentioned every gun is different, just like every load is different, you have to give it a test drive to see. I know I shot over 150,000 40's through one of my 610 revolvers in competition, perhaps as many as 200,000 or more, don't recall but the gun shot great, I just had to keep that cylinder clean.

Dick HOLY COW DICK 200,000, AND THAT WAS JUST 1 CALIBER, AND I THOUGHT I SHOT A LOT.

Bet Sixshot will never get a negative test result for a gun shot residue test. Ever.
