Just bought a little beater. 32 Single Six Bisley with a beautiful set of burl walnut grips on it. Unfortunately the left grip has a 1/2" crack in it at the top, just above where the emblem would be (if they were factory grips). There is a very small gap in one part of the crack with a minute amount of missing wood. I have considered drilling or sanding some other walnut, mixing the dust in with some epoxy and filling the gap to stop further cracking and cover the up the flaw. Anyone have any better suggestions?
