I am looking to pick up a 22 Levergun as an Understudy to my Model 94, and to match up with my Ruger Single Six..
I hear alot of good about the henry and it looks alot cheaper than trying to run down a 9422..
I am thinking of the Carbine with the larger lever..
Anyone have ANY bad experiences with the Henry, and if you did is the Company as good as I hear about correcting the problem?

PS..So far so good with my two boys and their Dan Wesson's..Might start reloading in the Spring..

I've had my big loop 22 carbine for 10 years now. The front sight is plastic: I replaced mine with a steel one I found on ebay and the rear sight is a williams rimfire adjustable. No complaints. Nice wood, nice action, good rifle.

When they first came out, some metallurgy issues. saw a hammer snap in two. Fixed relatively fast. Now many of my camp members have them and the .44 Henry. Seem fine. steve b

My dad bought one last year (the blued model). Paid something like $250 for it NIB. Tight little lever gun....well finished and very accurate. I've been thinking of buying one of their brass-framed/octagonal barreled 22s. Handled one a while back and was really impressed with the blueing and wood. -Lee www.singleactions.com
