Was reading about a Blackhawk converted to a 6 shot .45 Winchester Magnum. Why is this better than a .45 Colt? Or is it? Why? I know one answer for that but probably not why Im asking….  |

No better and probably not as good. Rimless and bullet pull gets to be an issue.
I can see zero benefit in a revolver...

LGS told me the second cylinder to my convertible was an ACP cylinder, I got home it was a Win Mag cylinder. I just kept it. The Win Mag was all about speed of a 230 or so grain bullet. 45 Colt uses much heavier and much slower bullets.
