Well, after giving all my 22 lr guns away to kids and grand kids I decided to replace a couple of them just for grins and giggles. The first was the Mk II suppressed gun I had build by Curtis Tactical that I posted pictures of a few weeks ago. That replaced the Mk II I gave my daughter for graduation from nursing school. The Colt Frontier Scout I had inherited from my father was recently gifted to my oldest grandson so I was fortunately enough to snag the little custom 22 David Clements built for himself that he offered a week or so ago. This is a NM single six that he built a new barrel for with a drift adjustable front sight, a new line bored cylinder , Belt Mnt. oversized Colt style base pin, full accuracy and action job, stabilized NM bighorn grips he build and fit himself, bead blast finish and his CCG logo on the side. He also fit a bisley hammer to the gun and scalloped the loading gate and recoil shield. You all KNOW where the obligatory pictures were taken.

Beautiful Gun...
I was happy to post that gun for Dave. He's really been good to me and continues to be.
So glad you snagged it too. A gun of this magnitude deserves an owner who appreciates it.
Look forward to the range report...

is Dave buying expensive golf clubs, or a new 57' styled golf cart??? seems if that was one he built for himself, & being a 22 caliber, he could have held on to that one longer

Mmmmmm, I like THAT. I love the understated work. I once read in the Dixie Gunworks catalog (about their Appalachian "Mountain Rifles," which were very unadorned) that you can't hide poor work when there's no ornamentation to hide it behind - or something to that effect. I said this the other day about something - like Shaker furniture. I love the aesthetic.
I've never been big on the 22 LR, but have had many. Right now, I don't have ANY.
I think I could enjoy the 22 LR a lot more with something like that.

Great little gun there. Those desert bighorn grips are my favorite set of David's. You got a good one.
